2020 is another busy year at
Dickie Bros. Orchard
A Growing Tradition

We added another 2,500 new dwarf plantings of apples and peaches including HoneyCrisp and EverCrisp as well as white peaches, These new plantings will continue our tradition of providing a diverse mixture of pre-picked and pick-your-own fruit here at Dickie Bros. Orchard.
Our farm store will be open with lots of fresh fruit from our orchard as well as some local artists' unique designs and creations... pottery, paintings and crafts.
We will also expand our service area by bringing our harvest to our "DBO North" location on Rt 151 in Afton. Our barn will open for the season on July 2nd and will be open weekly Thursday - Sunday.
We are continuing to bring our products to multiple farmers markets.
Look for us in Lexington on Wednesdays & Fridays and in Staunton and Nellysford on Saturdays.
Farm raised beef. USDA inspected and ready for the grill.
Black Raspberries to be ready the second week in June.
Blackberries the 1st week of July with Peaches following in the second week of July.
Nectarines are ripe in the 1st week of August and Damson Plums in late August.
Sweet potatoes are ready late September and Pumpkin picking begins in early October.
We have sweet plums and Barlett Pears this year as well.
Fuji and Pink Lady apple are the last apple varieties to ripen. PYO Fuji in Oct and PYO Pink Lady Apples the first weekend in November.

Fresh apple cider will be available again this year at Dickie Brothers Apple Cider Express beginning
mid-September. As always, apple butter and apple sauce will be available when we open at the start
of the season.
Don't forget our annual 'Cider, Blues & BBQ' festival in November.
As always, we are continuing to maintain a high quality fruit pack as well as having a high standard of
Dickie Bros. Orchard is GAP certified. Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) Certification means we've passed a multitude of tests put forth by the USDA to show we have great growing practices as well as safe handling practices and standards.

We can't wait for the 2020 season to begin,
when the apples are ripe and we're gathering at the farm to enjoy
